It’s been a while since I’ve visited Grandcypher Kitchen, and with a big revamp to the menu, I decided to stop by to see what’s on offer. Known for its more immersive decor and higher quality food than most collab cafes, it’s often cited as a “Must-Visit” for fans of Granblue Fantasy.
But what’s on offer in their 2026 lineup? How do you get all their collab goodies? And is it worth the visit? Let’s get to it. How Good is Grandcypher Kitchen Actually?

🏠 Interior 🏠

Grandcypher Kitchen is modelled after the dining rooms aboard the in-game Grandcypher, with a wooden decor, bar/diner-style tables, mock windows to the open sky, and a bunch of weapon replicas scattered across the store (Zooey, Rackam, Eugen, etc.)

There’s several seating arrangements here depending on how many people you’re with, from bistro-style chairs for solo diners, dining tables with a wooden partition for two people, and diner-style tables for three or more.

__________
📋 Seasonal Limited Menu 📋

In addition to the regular menu, you’ll also find a 3-month long seasonal menu featuring characters outside the standard lineup.
Seasonal Menu #18 features their first villains-only lineup of Belial, Beelzebub, and Lucifer.
__________
📋 Ordering Process 📋

To make your order, just tap on your selected dish and press “Send Order.” While the menu is entirely in Japanese, there’s a bit of English in this step to make things slightly easier.
__________
💬 Reservation & Table Charge Drinks 💬

Grandcypher Kitchen operates under a reservations-only system, so make sure to book your preferred date and time via TableCheck (dining time is 90 minutes, with 40 minutes of ordering time.)
As part of the ¥1,200 table charge, you’re given a choice of a Gran/Djeeta drink coaster and one drink off their drinks menu – including ones from their seasonal menu (excluding dessert drinks.)
__________
__________
🍹 Cagliostro’s Alchemy Drink (¥880) 🍹

Based on the Prettiest Alchemist herself, Caglisostro’s Alchemy Drink is a deconstructed mix of blackcurrant syrup with a rainbow light cube in ice, a flask of orange juice, and a small cup of cola-flavored popping candy.

To enjoy the drink, channel your inner alchemist by pouring the orange-juice flask into the main cup, top it with the candy, and give it a good stir for a refreshing citrus-based ‘potion’ with an explosive mouthfeel.

As a Cagliostro main in GBVSR, I’m a big fan of this one! Do give it a go!
__________
🟣 Chalice of Cunning (¥770) 🟣

The fallen angel of cunning’s drink features a Kyoho grape soda garnished with a maraschino cherry, chocolate wing, and a glowing light cube – served in a fancy chalice. Simple, but it works.

This one’s my brother’s go-to (as a GBVSR Belial main) whenever we visit Grandcypher Kitchen. It’s also tied with the character art latte as the cheapest drink on the menu – so if you’d like to get more of those collab playing cards (details below), this is the one to order.
__________
🔵 Society Contract Drink (¥880) 🔵

A 3-layered drink based on the mysterious Society, featuring a gold leaf-topped soda with a fluorescent blackcurrant syrup & light cube center, and deep red/purple blueberry syrup base.

Thematically very nice. Make sure to mix it after some photos and witness the darker blueberry syrup take over the brightness of the drink.
__________
__________
🐭 Vikala’s Dessert Drink (¥990) 🐭

Dessert drinks aren’t included in the Table Charge menu, but as a fan of Vikala ever since her debut in GBVS, I had to double-dip on the drinks today.

Vikala’s drink is a strawberry milk (in ice) topped with some whipped cream, strawberry syrup, a chocolate bowtie, and two rat-shaped monaka wafers – served in a Vikala-style cup sleeve (that you can take home!)

Thematically, it’s amazing. Flavor-wise, it’s not too bad. The strawberry milk is strawberry milk, but the whipped cream is satisfyingly thick – with tons to enjoy.

As a side note, I recommend you finish the whipped cream before drinking too much of the milk, as grabbing it once mixed in with the ice wasn’t very fun.
__________
🍹 Chaos Legion Drink (¥990) 🍹
–Seasonal Menu–

Beelzebub’s seasonal drink is a mix of pineapple juice with cherry syrup and lemon juice in some crushed ice, topped with diced strawberries, a single blueberry, and (being Beelzebub,) gold flakes.

I honestly enjoyed this one more than I thought. The main flavor is the pineapple of course, but the mix of cherry and lemon juice adds a different layer of sweet/sour that’s really refreshing.

Top that off with some fresh berries for some extra sweetness, and it’s a very solid option to go for.
__________
🟣 Lemegeton Soda (¥990) 🟣
–Seasonal Menu–

Belial’s seasonal drink is a blueberry & blackcurrant soda served with some Kyoho grape shaved ice – sorta like a deconstructed soda slushie.

Pretty simple all things considered, with the purple motif of Belial coming through very clear.

If you’re already a fan of the original Chalice of Cunning, this is one you don’t wanna miss out on!

__________
☕️ Dragon Knights Tea Set ~Siegfried~ (¥1,540) ☕️

The Dragon Knights get their own dedicated tea set, featuring strawberry shortcake for Percival, couverture chocolate cake for Siegfried, a meat pie & quiche combo for Vane, and a blue honey yogurt for Lancelot – served alongside a cup of tea determined by the character you choose.

🔵 Lancelot – Mint Tea + Blue Napkin
🟡 Vane – Jasmine Tea + Yellow Napkin
🔴 Percival – Earl Grey Tea + Red Napkin
⚫️ Siegfried – Assam Tea + Black Napkin

__________
🍜 Bahamut’s Garlic Tsukemen with Extra Vegetables (¥1,430) 🍜

The manifestation of the Bahamut raid meme: a rich pork-bone broth tsukemen with pork belly chashu, plenty of raw garlic, and a good helping of cabbage and bean sprouts.

Compared to the Jiro-ramen of the meme, portion sizes here are a bit more tame – but still very heavy by themed café standards.

Flavor-wise, it’s nothing too special, but it still hits all the correct notes of a Jiro-ramen-style tsukemen.

You can find better versions of this dish around Tokyo. But if you wanna go for a filling meal while also immersing yourself in the GBF culture, give this a shot.
__________
🍎 Cunning Roasted Apple (¥1,210) 🍎
–Seasonal Menu–

You can’t have a Belial-themed menu without an apple, and this dish delivers exactly that.

Featuring a roasted (half) apple and vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate syrup, blueberry jam, silver sprinkles, a generous amount of whipped cream, and a chocolate wing.

I’ve never had a roasted apple before so there’s nothing for me to compare it to… but the flavor that’s there works quite well. The apple had a decent amount of bite to it, and combine that with the contrasting temperatures of the ice cream and the various toppings, it’s a pretty good combo.
¥1,210 is probably a bit pricey for half an apple and some ice cream… but lore-wise, it’s an easy 10/10.
__________
__________
🎉 Collaboration Goodies 🎉

As with any themed-café, you’re treated to a whole assortment of (free and paid) collaboration goodies.
__________
🎉 Class Coaster 🎉

Upon entering the café, you’ll be given a Gran/Djeeta coaster of choice based on one of the in-game classes.

Available classes change every once in a while, so be on the lookout for when your favorite ones are in rotation.
Compared to coasters from other cafés, these are incredibly thick and sturdy – almost about 1 millimeter thick!
__________
🎉 Seasonal Placemat 🎉

At your table, you’ll find a A3-sized placemat featuring character art of the current seasonal menu.
The print quality is incredibly nice, so make sure to bring a folder that can store it on your journey back – or buy a lamination sheet from the reception on the 1st floor.
__________
🎉 Playing Cards 🎉

With every food & drink order (Table Charge drinks included), you’ll receive a random plastic playing card featuring the GBF cast (52-54 designs) with a new deck released every year.

Unless you live in Tokyo and visit every week, you’re unlikely to complete the collection. So if you have one you particularly want, make sure to ask around for some trades – maybe someone will have a duplicate or wants the one you have.

Out of the four cards I pulled today, I got Zooey (Holiday), Satyr (Halloween), Cassius (Valentine), and a Vira (Valentine) from a trade.
__________
__________
🎉 Stamp Card 🎉

Also with each food & drink order (Table Charge drinks excluded), you can get one point on your stamp card.
If it’s your first time, let the staff know and they’ll give you one with your choice of design: Lyria, Gran, or Djeeta.

At 20 points, you get a small pin badge. At 50, you get a Character Lithograph (a really high-quality stone lithograph), and at 5 fully completed cards (250 points), a soon-to-be announced prize (formerly a wooden Grandcypher Barrel Mug.)
__________
🛍 Merchandise Store 🛍

You’ll also find a merch store by the 2nd floor reception area, featuring acrylic stands of characters featured in past seasonal menus.

Stock seemed to be quite low when I visited, so stop by every once in a while to see if your favorite character is back in stock. (No Vikala or Sandalphon today, unfortunately…)
__________
🛍 Placemat Lamination 🛍

An optional step, but if you’d like to protect your placemats during your trip back home, there’s a lamination machine right by the entrance of the building.

You can buy lamination sheets by the reception area for ¥200. From there, slide your placemat in (make sure to remove any dust), turn on the machine, and let it do its thing.

It’s a pretty good deal, so unless you plan to display it some other way, I highly recommend you go for it before you head out!

⭐VERDICT⭐

So how good is Grandcypher Kitchen actually? As a permanent themed café, the production value is substantially higher than the limited-time ones, and you can immediately tell the moment you step in. Food-wise, I say it’s pretty comparable to many (normal) café chains out there – some pre-made, but tastes mighty fine.
Prices are a bit higher than your average restaurant, but between all the high quality goodies and immersive experience, it’s overall a very fun experience that I (even as a Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising-only player) wouldn’t mind coming back for every once in a while.

So if you’re in Tokyo and a fan of the Granblue Fantasy series, definitely stop by Grandcypher Kitchen!

💬 Final Words 💬
Grandcypher Kitchen has undergone a pretty big menu revamp since my last review in 2023, and I’m surprised they took out the Grandcypher Tea Set along with it (being based on the same thing the café is.) Thankfully, Cagliostro’s and Belial’s drinks are still around – though it’s a shame I never got to try Ferry’s blue soda or Clarrise’s dessert drink… But Vikala’s dessert drink is an acceptable replacement for that!
