And when dealing with a late-night arrival or an upcoming early-morning flight, sometimes you just want to get a good night’s rest nearby before continuing your journey fresh the next day.
Located just 10 minutes from Narita Airport, Meet Inn Narita positions itself as an ideal layover hotel at a very budget-friendly price point. But what exactly are their rooms like? 🏠 Lobby, Check-In, and Airport Shuttle 🏠
Checking in at Meet Inn is like any other hotel. Present your passport and booking number, get your keycard, and you’re all set.
While the check-in itself is straightforward, I do want to quickly credit the staff for being extremely friendly, going through the amenities list, other operational details, and checked if I needed a reservation on their free airport shuttle.
For amenities, you’ll find a self-service station right by the check-in counter, with razors, hairbrush, body sponge, and several facial products & lotions.
And from 3 P.M. to Midnight, you can also grab a complimentary coffee in the lounge area.
Speaking of the shuttle bus, Meet Inn offers a free shuttle service to Narita Airport (Terminals 1&2), with 7 available departure times. Reservations are required, so be sure to lock in your spot with the front desk as early as possible.

🛏️ Smart Double Room: Overview 🛏️
For my overnight stay, I booked their Smart Double Room (2 Adults).
At 11m², it’s definitely on the compact side – though fairly standard for Japanese business hotels. Despite that, the layout is optimized quite well to make the best of what little space they have. And even with two people, I found it to be perfectly serviceable.
Some extra room features before we dive into the specifics
Flooring: All rooms at Meet Inn Narita feature carpeted floors
Wi-Fi: Good! Didn’t encounter any issues during my stay.
Stay Duration: Check-In time is at 3 P.M., while Check-Out time is at 10 A.M.

🛏️ Bed Area 🛏️
Meet Inn’s Smart Double Room features a Semi-Double Bed.
The mattress itself was quite comfy, as expected from any good Japanese-style business hotel. Combined with their single medium-firm pillow, and I had a pretty good night’s rest with zero complaints.
Right by the headboard, you’ll also find the room’s light switches, and a power outlet for bedside charging.
And by the other side of the bed, a large TV with a power outlet, HDMI port, and a small stand to place your electronics – perfect if you want to hook up your Nintendo Switch!

💻 Table Area 💻
Positioned directly next to the bed is a table & nightstand combo.
It’s moderately sized, and comes with a chair, mini-fridge, desk lamp, a tablet with hotel information call buttons, and a bunch of other amenities: electric kettle, packets green tea & coffee, ceramic mugs, a box of tissues, and a notepad & pen.
Also some stuff underneath the drawer, though I didn’t realize it existed until I came back and edited these photos…

🏠 Room Hallway Area 🏠
While the 11m² room size is small on paper, the available floor space within the room was surprisingly generous!
Usually, my checked luggage fits rather snugly between the walls and the bed. But here? You get enough clearance for that plus some extra space to comfortably walk around! A nice bit of optimization, and saves you from hopping over your bags just to get around.

🏠 Closet Area 🏠
Not the most common thing at Japanese business hotels, but if you want a true closet area to hang your clothes, Meet Inn has you covered.
It’s… one of the smallest closets I’ve come across, so it won’t be fitting any bags here. But as a closet for 1-2 people, it works!
Inside, you’ll find some slippers (in-room & take home varieties), and the very handy clothes deodorizing & anti-bacterial fabric spray.

🛁 Bathroom Area 🛁
The classic Japanese business hotel bathroom: compact and feature-rich – though this one’s just a bit smaller than what I’m used to. Even so, it packs in just about everything you need and expect.
The shower area features a shower head with two shower mounts, a bathtub & bathtub spout, and a trio of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
And rounding out the space: a sink area with foaming hand soap, amenities tray with plastic cups and toothbrushes (additional amenities at the lobby!), a towel rack with body and hair towels, and a Japanese-style toilet with electronic bidet.

🏠 Facilities Room 🏠
On the 2nd floor, you’ll find their facilities room containing a (paid) laundry machine, microwave, and ice machine. Also, a men’s-only onsen available 6 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. and 4 P.M. to Midnight.
Additionally, you’ll also find a shared luggage rack and trouser press on every floor (except the 14th.)
And if you need even more amenities, the front desk does have some available to borrow for free, including universal outlets, LAN & HDMI cables, umbrellas, ice pillows (sounds interesting…), and extra blankets, pillows, and towels

🏠 Around Meet Inn Narita 🏠
Located right around Keisei-Narita Station and its taxi stands and bus stops, you’ll find several local dining options within the area, as well as two separate Lawson convenience stores directly opposite each other across the main street.
The general view is also surprisingly nice while walking the overpass, so even if you don’t plan on stopping by Lawson, I recommend walking around for a bit to explore the area (if you aren’t completely tired from your travelling today…)

⭐VERDICT⭐
So how good is Meet Inn Narita actually? It’s quite nice! As a layover hotel, the overall experience isn’t as important as its proximity to Narita Airport, but Meet Inn manages to check all the boxes needed for a good night’s stay. Yes, the rooms are a bit small. But at only around ¥6,000 to ¥9,000 per night, and especially if your flight aligns with one of their free shuttle bus rounds, I say it’s a great deal!
In all, it’s a highly functional and comforting stay. So if you have a late-night arrival or an early-morning departure at Narita Airport and want a good, budget-friendly place to recharge before continuing your journey, then book your stay at Meet Inn Narita!

🚗 Getting to/from Narita Airport or Tokyo 🚗
Meet Inn Narita is conveniently located right around Keisei-Narita station.
From Narita Airport (All Terminals) or the Tokyo area, take the Keisei Main Line to Keisei-Narita Station. From there, exit via the East Exit and the hotel is a quick 4-minute walk away, following the overpass and crossing over to the other side of the road.
To Narita Airport, head back to the East Entrance for a quick 4-minute walk – though this time you can skip the overpass and take the escalators going up.
Travel times to/from the hotel from Narita Airport (Terminals 1,2,3) via the Keisei Line:
Terminal 2&3: 1 station (6 minutes)
Terminal 1: 2 stations (9 minutes)
Do note that if you’re heading here via the JR Lines (Narita Station), the walk to here is just a bit longer at 7-8 minutes!
