Capcom Café is hosting a Street Fighter 6 collaboration during my trip to Osaka, and I made it a priority to get there as soon as I can.

But what are some of the menu options here? How accurate are each character’s items? And what are some of the goodies featured in this collab? Let’s get to it. How Good was Capcom Café x Street Fighter 6 Actually?

🛍 Capcom Store 🛍

Before heading to the restaurant, make sure to stop by CAPCOM Store to grab some merch of the café collaboration –  it’ll come in handy for photos later.

You might also be able to grab merch of older collabs as well, so have a look around.

A lot of the café collab’s merch are blindboxes, however, so good luck getting the characters you want – I got decently lucky with my SF6 pulls, with 3 of my favorites + Bosch.

🏣 Interior 🏣

The interior is pretty basic – with some framed art on the tables & wall, and some SF6 music.

And as far as souvenir placemats go, this collab doesn’t appear to give you one (sadly.) Though at least you get to admire the one on your table while you’re there.

__________

Like many other themed cafés, Capcom Café’s SF6 menu features a main course (or dessert) and a drink for each character in the collab.

MAIN COURSES
⭐ Luke ⭐
Hamburg platter with fried shrimp
🍶 Jamie 🍶
Wonton ramen
☯ Juri ☯
Korean Yangnyeom fried chicken, Jumeokbap rice balls, and assorted side dishes.
💜 A.K.I 💜
Sandwiches, and a butterfly pea color-changing soup.

DESSERTS
🟣 Ed 🟣
Pancakes topped with some chocolate-mint ice cream & whipped cream
🎧 Li-Fen 🎧
A colorful ice cream parfait
👿 Bosch 👿
Caramel pie with ice cream

DRINKS
⭐ Luke ⭐
Citrus blue soda with a star-shaped cookie.
🍶 Jamie 🍶
Strawberry Milkshake with coffee jelly and strawberry syrup.
💜 A.K.I. 💜
Black sesame latte topped with some berries.
🟣 Ed 🟣
“Psycho Cannon” cola with blue jelly, berries, and berry ice cream.
☯ Juri ☯
Kyoho grape yogurt drink topped with ice cream and decorative monaka wafers.
👿 Bosch 👿
Hot cocoa with some whipped cream and “Burnout” broken cookies.
🎧 Li-Fen 🎧
Ramune soda with mixed fruits & vanilla ice cream.

Overall, I’m quite impressed with their selection. A lot of their items are quite intricate and inspiration-heavy – especially Juri’s dish being a full-on Korean meal. A.K.I’s butterfly pea soup was also a nice touch with the color-changing, though the sandwich was just ok.

You’ll be ordering online via their QR code, where you can also find more details about each menu item.

⭐ Luke’s Hamburg Platter – ¥1,980 ⭐

Luke’s main course features Hamburg Steak (with a star-shaped American cheese slice) and two Ebi Fry, served with some potato salad, green salad, and rice.

Accuracy wise, I quite like it! The hamburg + star topping feels very Luke, and the shrimp and other sides work well enough. I would’ve traded the rice for some fries, but not bad overall.

Taste-wise? As expected from a themed café, it’s just ok. The Hamburg was quite dense and had a strong onion flavor to it – though the demi-glace-like sauce added quite a bit of flavor.

The Ebi Fry and other sides were also decent, so nothing much else to say here.

__________

🟣 Ed’s Psycho Cannon Cola – ¥880 🟣

For drinks, I went for Ed’s Psycho Cannon – a glass of cola served with some mixed berries, blue jelly, topped with some cassis ice cream.

Overall not bad. Bright and refreshing, and pretty decent value for a themed café.

🎉 Coasters & Other Goodies 🎉

Like other themed cafés, every drink you order comes with a (random) drink coaster.

You also get a postcard for every ¥3,000 spent, as well as a sticker sheet for posting your visit on Twitter.

⭐VERDICT⭐

So how good is Capcom Café x Street Fighter 6 actually? If we’re comparing it to some other themed cafés, I’d put this one somewhere in the upper-mid tier. The menu items are quite intricate and relate to the characters well – though the actual meal itself was just alright tasting and a touch pricey.

But as a whole – the food, ambience, and experience – it was quite an enjoyable visit. I probably won’t be visiting this exact same collab more than once, but as a once-in-a-while visit with a collab series you like – I’d recommend you give it a go!

So if there’s a collab series that you’re interested in and you’re in the area, make sure to stop by Capcom Café!
